Len Gerzon, Democrat
Running for state representative
Your background /education: Graduate of Brandeis University, with an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA from Suffolk University. For the past 27 years he has been an employee of PSNH where he serves as a senior consultant.
Experience/Occupation: A former municipal employee and private consultant to cities and towns in property tax assessing and has formerly been a mayoral appointee, serving as the City Assessor for Everett, Massachusetts prior to working at PSNH. He has held a Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) professional designation from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) since 1991.

Personal: Len Gerzon has been living in Amherst with his wife Nancy for the past 19 years. Len grew up in Canton, Massachusetts in a family with one brother and two sisters. Len's parents are Holocaust survivors who emigrated to the US in 1951. Starting with nothing, his father built a successful photography business in the Boston area. Like his brother and sisters before him, Len worked alongside his father in the family business starting at age 12. In his spare time Len enjoys hiking and biking. He is an avid swimmer and a loyal Sox fan.
