Murder, Country Style: A New Year's Murder-Mystery Dinner/Brunch

Join The Majestic for its popular annual New Year's INTERACTIVE murder mystery dinner theatre comedy show. This year in addition to the New Years Eve Dinner The Majestic has added a New Year's Day Brunch seating! Murder, Country Style is an audience participation murder-mystery by Eileen Moushey. Majestic’s ensemble cast is directed by Carol Neveux.  Someone has been sending threatening letters to Tucker Stumpp, head of the Stumpp Family Singers. The entire family, including nephews Flint (the hunk) and Eugene (the dweeb), and the twins, Doreen and Mae Rue, come under suspicion. The bodyguard, Patrick J., joins forces with a local policewoman to try and identify the author(s) and stop the hired killer. 

All inclusive dinner theatre on December 31st at 7pm for $40.00 per person. New Year’s Day brunch theatre on January 1st at 12noon for $25 per person. This includes chances to win lots of raffle prizes as well!!! All performances will be held at The Chateau Event Center at 201 Hanover Street, Downtown Manchester.

New Years Eve Party with Live Comedy

Concord is always fun, but sometimes the fun is hiding where you would least expect it, like the ballroom of a hotel. The Holiday Inn downtown Concord elegantly decorated ballroom is the sort of room that was built for a New Years Eve celebration. The dinner menu includes a chef prepared buffet that includes Slow Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib Sliders & Vegetable Crudités appetizers, along with Caesar, Garden and Mediterranean Salads. The main course consists of New England Baked Haddock and Maple Walnut Crusted Chicken in addition to a Steamship Roast Carving Station. There will be assorted pies and cakes for dessert.

The Live show features TOP Boston comic Gerry Howell, a regular at Dick’s Beantown Comedy and headliner EJ Murphy from Rooftop Comedy and the Comedy Connection. After the show, dig into some festive cocktails, survey the scene bubbling up around the giant ballroom—a dance floor built so people can dance the night away—and then get lost in a swirl of music provided by Good Vibes DJ’s. The ballroom will have plenty of party favors and nothing says Happy New Year like a champagne toast at midnight.

This New Year’s Eve Celebration will feature skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, 2-hour comedy show, Monte Carlo for raffles prizes, dancing to a live band, tasting stations, party favors, champagne toast and a midnight fireworks display. The party begins at 6pm, and the slopes are open until 10pm. Guests are invited to enjoy a range of entertainment that’s suitable for families.
