Couple Allegedly Pawned Thousands in Stolen Jewelry
Alleged theft was discovered by victim, a friend of the couple, who allegedly pawned items in Nashua.
Ryan Courtenay, 23, of 8 Cherry St., Nashua, and Kaley Boyle, 23, of 12 Spring Road, Amherst, were arrested July 5 on active arrest warrants, charging each with one count of receiving stolen property, consolidation, a class A felony.
On June 25 at approximately 1:30 pm, members of the Nashua Police Uniformed Patrol Division responded to a downtown address for the report of a theft. The victims reported they arrived home and noticed they were missing multiple pieces of jewelry, valued in excess of $1,500.
The investigation was furthered by members of the Nashua Police Department’s Burglary Unit. During the investigation, multiple pawn transaction reports were reviewed. These reports listed Courtenay and Boyle as the sellers. Courtenay and Boyle are both known to the sellers. The victims positively identified thousands of dollars worth of their jewelry listed on the pawn transaction reports. Based on the identification of the jewelry, arrest warrants were completed for both Courtenay and Boyle. Both parties were later arrested without incident.

A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Courtenay and Boyle are both being held on $25,000 cash/surety bail, pending arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
