Emerald Ash Borer Beetles Sitting Pretty in NH

Bad bugs lead to quarantine, a charity golf tournament and more things to know today.

1. Those poor ash trees...Emerald ash borer beatles have been found in 5 percent of ash trees studied in a section of Concord. The governor has declared this week Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week, and reminds citizens of the quarantine for wood products in Merrimack County.

2. Golf for good. The 23rd Annual Souhegan Valley Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, June 6 at the Amherst Country Club. The tournament and auction event will benefit Oppurtunity Networks, a Non Profit Organization serving Souhegan Valley and Greater Nashua young adults and adult residents who live with acquired and developmental disabilities.
