With flexible schedules and more than 50 academic, and career training programs, Nashua Community College is a great resource for students of all ages – including current high school students, and adult learners. Open House is the perfect time to see what NCC is all about, and to discover new opportunities this fall.
“One of the best things about Open House is being able to come to the college and see it all for yourself,” said Carolyn Doherty, enrollment specialist at NCC. Doherty also graduated from the college in 2020 before joining the admissions team. “At Open House, the faculty and student support staff are here to help you learn more about each academic program, and student ambassadors lead tours around campus.”

Opportunities for Current High School Students
At Open House, find out how high school students can earn college credit for a fraction of the regular tuition cost with Dual Enrollment programs Running Start, Early College, and eStart. Students can take classes for both college and high school credit, pending approval from the student’s high school.
High school students can use the Governor’s Scholarship to earn college credits for free. This includes STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) classes like statistics, physics, and accounting; and CTE (Career and Technical Education) courses like graphic design, automotive, and criminal justice.
Through Dual Enrollment classes, students have graduated high school with dozens of highly transferable college credits, sometimes shaving a semester or even a year off their college program.
