Infanti Given Send Off at His Last Meeting as Selectman
Town officials thanked the retiring Infanti for his years of service.
George Infanti attended his last meeting as a selectman on Monday, but he is sure to be seen in the audience from now on.
Town officials honored Infanti for his nine years as an Amherst selectman, as well as his 40 years volunteering in nearby towns Milford and Wilton.
Community Development director Sarah Marchant presented Infanti with a plaque engraved with the symbols of all the towns he has dedicated himself to over the years. The laser-engraved piece was created by engineering students at the Milford High School Technology Center
