Erica's Run. There are just a few days left to register for Erica's Run, which is this Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. Erica's Run is held in memory of Merrimack resident Erica Pombrio who died of cancer Sept. 19, 2009. The money raised from the race goes toward helping other families in Merrimack dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Registration is $25 and race-day registration is accepted. Register online or download a registration form on the Erica's Fight website to bring with you the morning of. Registration starts at 8 a.m. The race starts and ends at Merrimack High School.
Weather watch. A cooler day today before temperatures climb back into the 70s. Today's forecast calls for a high of 63 degrees, and sunny skies. A true early fall kind of day. Tonight, bundle up and make sure your plants are covered. Temperatures are expected to dip to just above freezing at 36 degrees.
