Help Needed Finding Missing Teen

17-year-old has been missing since Saturday, Sept. 7, from Wilton.

Have you seen Kyle? A Wilton family and police are asking for the public's help finding a teenager who has been missing since Saturday. Police say Kyle Shawn Flanagan was last seen in Wilton. The 17-year-old's family is concerned for his well-being and if anyone knows where he is, they would appreciate your help in finding him. More information and a photo available here.

Want to get one last visit in to the Milford Drive In before it closes for the season? There are just two weekend left, with closing day being Sept. 21. Go back to the 80s this weekend with a double feature  of Back to the Future and Jaws on one screen, or catch movies from this summer, Riddick and 2 Guns, on the other screen. Library Book Sale.  
 The annual Friends of the Amherst Library book sale is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Amherst, located at 11 Church Street right on the Amherst Green. A special preview for Members starts at 8 a.m. New members may join at the door from 7:30 a.m. One of the largest book sales in the state of New Hampshire, the sale will feature close to 14,000 books, 95 percent of which are graciously donated from the community. These books are meticulously sorted into 15 categories for ease of shopping. There is a large and high quality selection of children’s books. Prices are $1 for most adult books and $0.50 for most children’s books.

Earlier this week we told you about an interesting event being held at A&E Coffee Roastery tonight in Amherst where baristas will throwdown their skills in a latte art competition. The event begins at 8 p.m. Read more about it here.

Weather watch. 
Though temperatures begin to drop today after yesterday's July-like heat, they still are expected to climb into the mid 80s. According to the National Weather Service, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m., then isolated showers between 8 and 9 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 a.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Areas of fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 85. Tonight, showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 63.
