How Does Traffic Look in Amherst?

An NRPC map shows the busiest roads in town.

The Nashua Regional Planning Commission has a snapshot of traffic counts through 2011 on roads across the area.

The map shows traffic counts through 2011 on select roads and byways in Amherst and surrounding communities. Most counts represent 24-hour raw data averages for weekdays.

For example, Greeley Highway, north of Baboosic Lake Rd, was 21,908 based on a 2011 count. Boston Post Road, north of Main Street, was 5,748 in 2003.
