Investigation Reveals Cause of Hickory Drive Blaze
The 3-alarm fire caused major damage to the home, and one firefighter was injured.

Investigation has unveiled the cause of an fire that took hit an Amherst home over the weekend.
The NH State Fire Marshall has concluded that the fire at 22 Hickory Lane was accidental, and likely the result of building material being too close to the chimney, according to Amherst Fire Chief Mark Boynton.
The 3-alarm blaze started early Saturday morning and caused significant damage to the home's back porch area. Firefighters from surrounding towns helped to battle the blaze, with one Milford firefighter falling and breaking his finger after slipping on ice.
