Kimberly L. Cates Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk "Heal the Soul"

The First Annual Kimberly L. Cates Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk "Heal the Soul" will be held at Chapanga's Restaurant in Milford on Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. (with a free kids run at 6:30 p.m.)

Registration opens at 5:30 p.m and is $20 for ages 16 & Up, $15 for Ages 15 & Under. Runner's Ticket Price includes all access pass to After Music Party. There is a $10 Non-Runner Entrance Fee for Music Party only.

The run/walk features a flat course through quiet neighborhood streets around the Hampshire Dome. There will be computerized timing, awards, raffle prizes, and a great post race party.

The Pop Farmers and The Slakas will provide live music from 6:30 p.m. until close. Parking and shuttle service available for runners at Milford High School.

All proceeds from the race to benefit the Kimberly L. Cates Memorial Scholarship which helps students pursue post-secondary studies in medicine.
