Labelle Winery Sweeps Wine Competition
Their Three Kings wine won two awards at the 2012 Big E Northeast Gold Win Competition.

The 2012 Big E Northeast Gold Wine Competition, an annual competition featuring wines produced in New England and New York, has named LaBelle Winery’s Three Kings, a port-style dessert wine, Best Fruit Wine.
Three Kings also earned the highest ranking among wines produced and made in New Hampshire and was awarded Best New Hampshire Wine. The wine will be on display with other award winners during The Big E, the largest fair in the Northeast, from September 14th through 30th.
LaBelle Winery’s Three Kings is named in honor of Winemaker Amy LaBelle’s husband and two sons. It is also a blend of three flavors including Red Raspberry, Blueberry and Marechal Foch grape. The dessert wine is made in port-style and infused with apple brandy. Three Kings pairs nicely with cheesecake, crème brule, top quality cheese and chocolate.

“The Big E Northeast Gold Wine Competition is unique because it positions us head to head against our New England and New York counterparts. Forty-five wineries were showcased in all, six of us hailed from New Hampshire,” stated Winemaker Amy LaBelle. “It is an honor to earn these accolades and be recognized alongside so many great wineries.”
