Leave Donations at Your Mailbox for Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Postal workers will pick up your bags of non-perishable food items at your mailbox.

Once again the local letter carriers will be collecting food for area pantries during the Stamp Out Hunger food drive. This national event will take place Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Area residents are asked to simply collect and bag non-perishable food items and leave them by their mailboxes. The postal workers do the rest!
While many think of those in need at the holidays, families are hungry all year long. This spring drive replenishes food pantry shelves and provides a little for storage during the busy summer months when hungry children, who normally receive free breakfast and lunch at school, are fed at home.

During the first three months of 2013, SHARE's food pantry distributed food for over 36,000 meals to 350 families -- 70 of them new to SHARE this year.
The pantry, staffed by volunteers, operates only because of the generosity of our community.

Please support Stamp Out Hunger this Saturday and help us continue our mission of helping the most vulnerable citizens put food on their tables. No one should go hungry.
