LETTER: Peter Hansen Wants Your Vote

Rep. Peter Hansen asks for support to get re-elected in November.

I am Peter Hansen your Amherst state representative asking for your vote in the general election, returning me to Concord. Depending on individual circumstances there are many reasons you could chose to vote for my re-election.

If you believe debt is not the way to finance our state business, if you believe bigger government is not the best government, if you believe folks receiving financial assistance using your money should be spending it on food, clothing, and shelter and not beer, lottery tickets, tattoo’s and lobster, if you believe assistance is a way to a better life and not a way of life, if you spent much less on your car registration this year or didn’t pay a tax on using your vacation campground, and didn’t pay a large fine for the balloon your child released into the air or if you enjoyed registering your vehicles and taking your driving test locally rather than Nashua and appreciate the thousands of dollars in savings to our town budget by rescuing our local court then we have much in common.

Other reasons I believe you would consider re-electing me. I believe both the state and national constitutions mean what they say, I believe we pay too much in taxes and don’t need a sales or income tax to feed more excessive government spending, I believe in setting aside funds for emergencies not spending every cent, the second amendment is clear in intent and necessary in practice, NH needs to attract business and jobs, retain its talented youth, reduce the expense of a higher education, lower its energy costs, and assist its needy to name just a few. I support each and every one of the above.
