LETTER: Re-Elect Peg Bennett and Lucienne Foulks

Please join me in supporting Peg Bennett and Lucienne Foulks for reelection to the Amherst School Board (ASB).

As a 4 year member of the ASB Ways & Means (W&M) Committee, I had the opportunity to experience first hand the high level ofcommitment, collaboration, and fiscal responsibility they brought to their positions on the ASB. The W&M members look hard for opportunities to reduce spending and often ask tough questions to seek understanding of school curriculum, programs and initiatives.

I found Peg & Lucienne to be extremely responsive to questions that were brought forward, always ensuring complete transparency throughout the budget process. They openly facilitate productive dialogue to bring solid outcomes that support their passion for seeking excellence in education while balancing the fiscal concerns of the Amherst citizens.
