Hassan: I'll Move Forward, Ovide Will Send Us Backward
The gubernatorial candidate stopped by the Black Forest Cafe this morning as part of her Get-out-the-Vote effort.
Democratic candidate for Governor Maggie Hassan is making her final push before the polls open for voters.
Hassan stopped by the Black Forest Cafe in Amherst this morning as part of the campaign's Get-out-the-Vote. She was met by supporters and volunteers, including Democratic state representative candidates Shannon Chandley and John Shonle.
The gubernatorial candidate is stressing the difference between herself and Republican opponent Ovide Lamontagne in the final hours of the election season.

"We have been trying to communicate with people on a daily basis about the difference between our forward-looking vision that builds on what Governor Lynch has done, and the very backward direction my opponent would take us in."
She stressed that her main focus as governor will be building the economy through businesses and innovation, adding that she will oppose an income or sales tax. Hassan said she would continue to the needs of voters across the state.

"I've just been so privileged to be able to campaign across the state and hear from Granite Staters about what they care about," she said. "The people of New Hampshire make this an exciting and engaging process."
Hassan will be visiting Bedford and Goffstown before attending a rally with Gov. Lynch at Martha's Exchange in Nashua this afternoon. In addition to the Nashua rally, Hassan will continue her GOTV efforts across the state tomorrow, with stops in Hollis, Amherst, Bedford, Goffstown, Merrimack and Windham.
