Man Arrested For DWI, Speeding

[Friday, May 10]

At 11:26 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Eric K. Cousens, 43, of 222 Amherst Road, Merrimack on a charge of driving after revocation. Cousens was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 12:12 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported. David Scott, 46, of Amherst had hit a parked vehicle.

At 1:35 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Amanda Boyett, 20, of 28 Savage Road #12B, Milford on a charge of willful concealment. Boyett was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 2 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Shannon Benoit,  43, of 99 Elm Street #1, Milford on a charge of willful concealment. Benoit was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 4:51 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Craftsman Lane.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Adam Page, 25, of Sudbury, MA and Dilipkumar Patel, 67, of Nashua.

At 10:32 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Chad Sperrey, 32, of Milford and Jason Jordan, 38, of Milford.

[Saturday, May 11]

At 1:45 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jessica Varaksin, 20, of 52 Walnut Circle, Merrimack on a charge of Aggravated DWI.  Varaksin was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with a court date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 12:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a three-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Stewart Long, 39, of Amherst, Mark Ryan Laflamme, 32, of Amherst and Peter Mwangi, 34, of Milford.

At 1:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Karen Alvarado Morales, 27, of 23 Beech Street #1, Nashua on a charge of willful concealment. Alvarado-Morales was released on a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on June 6, 2013.

At 8:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Gregory Cormier, 22, of 47 Glass Factory Road, Lyndeborough on charges of DWI and speed. Cormier was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
