Man with Fatal Heart Condition Needs Your Help

A local man diagnosed with a potentially fatal heart condition is looking for some help paying for medical bills and his family's living expenses.

Tamara Ann Durham is asking for donations to help pay her cousin's medical expenses following his recent diagnosis of Brugada syndrome, according to the GoFundMe.com page. Patch has partnered with GoFundMe and is helping to highlight worthy campaigns in local communities.

Since Dec. 27, 10 people have donated $424. The goal is $30,000.

On December 25, 2013, Patrick was rushed to Concord Hospital in Concord. He had had a seizure. He had tests done and have put him on some medication for the seizures. Patrick has been diagnosed with Brugada Syndrome which is fatal his heart has an irregular beat, and his heart could stop beating at anytime. He need help raising money for medical and living expenses as Patrick has no insurance, also he is now not working and he has a 3 month old baby girl Aurora and Girlfriend Meghan he was supporting.

Patrick is waiting for a life vest which is something that he will have to wear at all times in case his heart ever does stop, the vest will shock him to start his heart back up and get it beating again, the vest rental is at least $3,000 a month.

Please help this young loving father going. His baby girl means the world to him. No donation is to small to keep him alive. Please keep him and all of his family in your thoughts and prayers.
