Milford Molding Business Moving To Amherst

Hendrix Molded Products are relocating their molding operations to the former Ceratec building.

A Milford molding operation is moving a town over after purchasing a building location on Route 101A.

Hendrix Molded Products, located on Old Wilton Road in Milford, recently bought the 53,000 industrial/retail which used to house Ceratec Corp., according to a press release from NAI Norwood Group.

The building has been leased temporarily to help with building expenses while they searched for a potential buyer. The sale took some time due to the poor real estate market and unique location of this building.

A variance was granted for injection molding by the town of Amherst, enabling this use. NAI Norwood Group said that Marmon's team of engineers, construction and manufacturing specialists were very pleased with the quality of the building and once the variance was granted for limited light manufacturing, they moved very quickly toward a sale.

Michael Garratt, President of Marmon Utility, is very excited with the move.

"We have been looking for 6 years for the right building and the Ceratec property was the perfect fit. We are happy to find something locally, so we can continue to encourage New Hampshire economic development and business prosperity," said Garratt in the press release.
