No sooner did the snow melt in most parts of Southern New Hampshire than more is expected to fall. After an extremely mild January thaw saw temperatures near 60 degrees Monday, between 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected to fall in Amherst and the rest of Southern New Hampshire starting early Wednesday morning. The snow is expected to begin falling between 3 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, and a "plowable snow" is expected by 5 p.m.
