New Hampshire Film Festival Kicks Off Tonight

A new Patch app, Halloween spooktacular, and a Friends of the Library event.

Don't miss NH Film Festival. Beginning on Thursday, nearly 100 films produced by filmmakers from New Hampshire, the U.S. and around the world will be screened during the 13th annual New Hampshire Film Festival. Among the videos being screened during Thursday's New Hampshire night showings is a movie co-produced and co-starring Amherst native Chris Prine. Read more about Prine's film Twenty Million People.

New Patch app.
Android users, your time has arrived. Patch on Wednesday released the long-awaited Patch app for Android phones and devices. The free app can be found in the Google Play store. Here's the link. Users can browse news, recommend posts, and comment on stories. Have an iPhone or iPad? There's a Patch app for those, too.

Spooktacular. Calling all goblins, ghosts and ghouls! Head over to a haunted Camp Sargent for some spooky fun on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 2-5 p.m. Take a trip through the haunted house, take a hayride, play games and more! Wear your Halloween costume. Free and open to the public. Camp Sargent is at 141 Camp Sargent Road in Merrimack.
