POLICE LOG: Amherst Man Arrested For Simple Assault

[Monday, Nov. 5]
At 5:16 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Arnold L. Boyer, 47, of 33 Route 101A, Amherst on a charge of simple assault. Boyer was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 5:57 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the Northwood Business Center parking lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Robert Peters, 40, of Milford and Leslie Bassett, 48, of Milford.

At 12:41 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Darren Michael Blouin, 43, of 15 Eric Avenue, Nashua on charges of driving After suspension and disobeying a police officer, as well as on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Nashua District Court. Blouin was released on $800 personal recognizance bail on the Amherst charges, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 6:42 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Dereck Daniel Johnson, 25, of 135 Elm Street #7, Milford on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Johnson was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail, with a court date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 4:08 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on County Road at Upham Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was Richard Chamberlain, 78, of Davenport, FL
[Wednesday, Nov. 7]
At 4:12 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Mary Anna Harris, 46, of 24 Roosevelt Street, Goffstown on a charge of disobeying a police officer, as well as on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Nashua District Court. Harris was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail on the Amherst charge, with a court date set for November 29, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
