POLICE LOG: Amherst Man Charged with Shoplifting

[Monday, July 16]
At 11:35 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Rory Strickler, 20, of 2 Clocktower Place #505, Nashua on a charge of driving after suspension. Strickler was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 7:46 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Amherst Street at Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Connor Holbrook, 17, of Amherst and Marcus Metzger, 27, of Milford.

[Tuesday, July 17]
At 7:10 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Julius S. Lane, 32, of 44 Notre Dame Ave #2, Manchester on charges of unsworn falsification, disobeying a police officer, driving after suspension and bail jumping. Lane was held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, with an arraignment date set for July 18, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Wednesday, July 18]
At 2:22 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. The drivers were Morgan French, 17, of Amherst and Steven Striebel, age 45, of Amherst.
[Thursday, July 19]
At 9:50 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Theodore P. Piwowarczyk, 41, of 25 Pinewood Drive, Amherst on a charge of shoplifting, as well as on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Piwowarczyk was arraigned in the Milford District Court this same date.
At 3:08 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Anne S. Mock, 67, of 103 Crestwood Drive, Hollis on a charge of conduct after an accident. Mock was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 4:41 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Andrew Clement Lemieux, 24, of 52 Naticook Road, Merrimack on charges of shoplifting and prowling. Lemieux was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 8:34 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Christopher Watson, 24, of 163 Ridgefield Drive, Milford on a charge of willful concealment. Watson was released on $300 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
[Friday, July 20]
At 12:56 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a hit and run accident which occurred in the Walmart parking lot. An unknown driver had hit a parked vehicle.
At 4:35 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Casey Vigeant, 28, of 14 Crown Street, Nashua on a charge of shoplifting. Vigeant was released on $1,800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
[Saturday, July 21]
At 9:33 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Mary J. Selver, 72, of 89 Sentry Way, Merrimack on a charge of conduct after an accident. Selver was released on $400 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
[Sunday, July 22]
At 8:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jason Paul Tardif, 32, of 9 Willow Street, Milford on a charge of DWI. Tarfif was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 10:27 p.m., the Amherst Police Department detained two juveniles on charges of willful concealment. Court action is anticipated.
