POLICE LOG: Amherst Teen Charged With Sexual Assault

At 5:27 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested James Michael Penta, 52, of 47 Tarry Lane, Milford on an arrest warrant issued by the Hillsborough County Superior Court. Penta was released to the custody of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department

[Thursday, Nov. 1]

At 3:16 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on County Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was John Michael Earley, 41, of Amherst.

At 6:07 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Blueberry Hill Road (car v. deer).  No injuries were reported. The driver was Philip Howe, 68, of Amherst.

At 6:54 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Boston Post Road (car v. deer).  No injuries were reported. The driver was Steven Raaberg, age 58, of Amherst.

At 6:39 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer).  No injuries were reported. The driver was Lorna Brown, age 55, of Greenfield, NH

At 3:20 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Alex D. Butterworth, 19, of 83 High Range Road, Londonderry on charges of  DWI and transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor. Butterworth was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 3:20 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested William Joseph Casey, 19, of 5 Tartan Court, Danville on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Casey was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 3:20 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Angelina Claire Sullivan, 18, of 5 Tartan Court, Danville on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Sullivan was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Nov. 4]

At 12:40 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Spencer Sottile, 20, of 24 Beech Hill Road, Mont Vernon on a charge of driving after suspension. Sottile was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
