POLICE LOG: Driver Hits Pedestrian On Hollis Road

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Wednesday, Oct. 24]

At 6:55 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer).  No injuries were reported. The driver was John Searle, 42, of Grantham.

At 2:22 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Boston Post Road.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Charity Nett, 17, of Amherst and Tyler Swenson, 17, of Amherst.

At 2:39 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Kyle S. Dewispelaere, 25, of 49 Boulder Drive, Milford on a charge of receiving stolen property. Dewispelaere was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, Oct. 27]

At 11:35 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Delton Daron McCall, 34, of 18 South Street #1, Manchester on a charge of DWI.  McCall was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Oct. 28]

At 7:15 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at 157 Hollis Road. Minor injuries were reported. The driver  David Martel, 64, of Springfield, VT hit Kenneth Gilchrist, 65, of Dedham, MA

At 5:48 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer).  No injuries were reported. The driver was Sharon Louise Clark, 42, of Greenville.

[Tuesday, Oct. 30]

At 5:13 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Mohamed Ewiess, 42, of Amherst and Eva Grimaldi, 46, of Milford.

[Wednesday, Oct. 31]

At 1:10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Danielle Marie Nilsen, 19, of 4 Willow Lane, Amherst on charges of unlawful possession of alcohol and possession of a controlled drug. Nilsen was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for November 15, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
