POLICE LOG: Hit-And-Run On Main Street

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Thursday, Oct. 11]

At 2:28 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Emidio Diclemente, 83, of Bedford, MA and Jennifer Lee Sennett, 27, of Peterborough.

At 4:42 p.m., the Amherst Police responded to a two-car hit and run accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported. The unknown driver hit a parked vehicle.

At 4:13 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Ernest Root, 80, of Nashua and Marilyn Dupont, 61, of Hollis.

[Saturday, Oct. 13]

At 12:32 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101A at Truell Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Joshua Rivera, 19, of Milford.

At 3:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Hannah E. Hertzler, 24, of 693 Jarmany Hill Road, Sharon on charges of disobeying an officer and driving after suspension. Hetzler was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 11:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Joseph Calisto, 24, of 2 Townhouse Lane #17, Acton, MA on a charge of driving after suspension. Calisto was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 11:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Sady O’Brien, 22, of 22 Beech Street, Milford on charges of possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. O’Brien was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Oct. 14]

At 12:45 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested John Brogioli, 47, of 71 Boston Post Road, Amherst on a charge of violation of protective order. Brogioli was held without bail, and is expected to be arraigned in the Milford District Court on October 15, 2012.
