Police Log: Juvenile Detained on Simple Assault

[Monday, July 1]

At 7:21 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Ponemah Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were John Ohrenberger, 53, of Amherst and Tyler Green, 28, of Amherst.

At 6:21 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a three-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Lorrie Knight-Tuthill, 48, of Wilton, Laford McRae, 54, of Nashua and Johnny Richard, 53, of Nashua.

[Thursday, July 4]

At 1:24 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the Lowe’s parking lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Paul Desjardins, 66, of Nashua and Frederick Marschal, 62, of Merrimack.

[Friday, July 5]

At 11:36 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Matthew Thatcher, 31, of 10 Trevor Court, Milford on theft charges. Thatcher was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail, with a court date set for July 18, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, July 6]

At 12:10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department detained a juvenile on a charge of simple assault. Court action is anticipated.

[Sunday, July 7]

At 6:04 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jesse James Disher, 23, of 10 Winchester Drive, Merrimack on charges of driving after suspension and transportation of a controlled drug. Disher was released on $1,200 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for July 18, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Monday, July 8]

At 4:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Sapana Gurung, 28, of 23 South Ridge Drive, Manchester on a charge of DWI. Gurung was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for July 18, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 5:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Robert Flagg, 31, of 90 Wilton Road, Milford on charges of habitual offender and possession of a controlled drug, as well as on a warrant issued by the NH Board of Parole. Flagg was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail on the Amherst charges, with an arraignment date set for July 18, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
