POLICE LOG: Man Arrested For DWI After Accident

[Monday, July 23]

At 9:22 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Christian T. Benjamin, 20, of 7 Timber Chase Road, Amherst on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court.  Benjamin was held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, with a court date set for July 24, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Thursday, July 26]

At 8:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department detained three juveniles on drug related charges.  Court action is anticipated.

[Friday, July 27]

At 1:07 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Seaverns Bridge Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Michael Henderson, 47, of Merrimack, NH. Henderson was arrested at the scene for DWI.

At 1:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Michael John Henderson, 47, of 24 Seaverns Bridge Road, Merrimack on charges of DWI and conduct after an accident. Henderson was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
