POLICE LOG: Man Strikes Two Parked Cars, Arrested For DWI

[Friday, July 27]

At 4:19 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the Meadow Brook Crossing parking lot.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Nicholas Coffey, 24, of Hollis and Melvin Rodriguez, 46, of Nashua.

At 6:20 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Boston Post Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Christopher Thibodeau, 24, of Amherst.

At 9:21 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a three-car accident on Amherst Street.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Justin Laperle, 32, of Punta Gorda, FL and two parked vehicles. Laperle was arrested at the scene on a charge of DWI.

At 9:41 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Justin Laperle, 32, of 3106 Maplewood Drive, Punta Gorda, FL on a charge of DWI. Laperle was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, July 28]

At 1:35 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Kane A. Molleo, 18, of 46 Yarmouth Road, Gray, ME on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Molleo was released on $300 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 2:15 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Michael Horgan 20, of 6 Georgetown Drive, Amherst on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Horgan was released on $300 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, July 29]

At 3 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Gary Michaud, 43, of 14 Maple Street, Nashua on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property. Michaud was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for July 29, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 10:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Kevin Coleman Howley, 33, of 105 Eastview Drive, Wilton on charges of driving after suspension, possession of a controlled drug, transportation of a controlled drug and transporting alcoholic beverages.  Howley was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 23, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
