POLICE LOG: Two Men Charged With Drug Possession

[Wednesday, July 11]

At 11 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Embankment Road at Clark Island Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Lester Byam, 67, of New Boston.

At 4 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jonathan A. Beebe, 42, of 4 High Street, Amherst on a charge of Criminal Mischief.  Beebe was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Thursday, July 12]

At 6:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were George Sklavounos, 37, of Milford and Nicole Bent, 26, of Brookline.

At 10:10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Meadow Brook Crossing. The drivers were Christie West, 59, of Mont Vernon and Michael Sadowski, 40, of Greenville. Mr. Sadowski was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries.

[Friday, July 13]

At 1:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Steve E. Dorsey, 45, of 586 Mason Road, Milford on charge of DWI.  Dorsey was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 2:10 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of Diacom Corporation.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Mariana Alvarez, 39, of Manchester and Leonardo Cano, 33, of Nashua.

At 2:23 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. The drivers were Christina Daily, 36, of Milford and Louis Wittner, 45, of Milford. Both Ms. Daily and Mr. Wittner were transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries.

At 5:40 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jodie L. McCrea, 31, of 10 Trevor Court, Milford on a charge of driving after suspension.  McCrea was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 11:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Joel Roman, 27, of 11 Gibbs Street # H121, Worcester, MA on a charge of possession of a controlled drug.  Roman was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 11:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Bernaldo W. Ruiz, 19, of 111 Mechanic Street #2, Leominster, MA on a charge of transportation of a controlled drug. Ruiz was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
