SHS First Robotics Team Looking For Mentors

The team is looking for individuals with experience in mechanical and software engineering.

The Souhegan High School FIRST Robitics team is seeking mentors as the team prepares for the next competition, according to The Cabinet Press.

The 2012-13 Team 138 (Entropy) is looking for mentors with mechanical or software engineering experience to oversee the group of 40 students.

Meetings will being on Oct. 3 and meets once or twice a week in December before getting their FIRST game challenge in January. The next six weeks are spent working on a competition robot three to four times a week. They will compete in the Granite State Regional in Manchester in March, and will have at least one out-of-town event in April.

The mechanical team uses AutoDesk Inventor or Solidworks CAD, while the software teams uses Wind River workbench and C++.
