Fall Soccer

Come out and join Recreation Soccer. Learn and develop passing, dribbling, and sportsmanship while having fun with your teammates. Participants will have one hour long practice on a weekday night and play their games on Saturday. Come out and join Recreation Soccer for ages 5-13. Registration deadline is August 1st. Late registrations are subject to a $10 late fee.

General Information

• Learn and develop passing, dribbling, and sportsmanship while having fun with your teammates.
• Participants will have one hour long practice on a weekday night and play their games on Saturday. The one hour weekly practice day is determined by the volunteer coach for each team.
• Special requests for specific coaches, teammates, carpooling needs and practice days will be considered when possible, however we are unable to make any guarantees.
• Volunteers are needed to coach. Parents who are interested in coaching are encouraged to note that on their child's registration and to complete the background check available on our website, if not already on file.

• Soccer cleats and shin guards are recommended at the instructional level.

When: 9/3 - 11/3

Instructional Fall Soccer - Ages 5-7

Prep Fall Soccer - Ages 8-9

Junior & Senior Fall Soccer - Ages 10-14

Fall Baseball

Batter up Amherst & Mont Vernon kids between the ages of baseball 8-12 years (see baseball birthdate requirements below.) Fall ball is a chance to practice your skills and learn some new ones in a more relaxed season. Come out and extend your playing in our developmental and competitive program. Teams will play with other neighboring towns. Practices are one night a week with games on Saturdays and Sundays.

Baseball age is based on participant’s age on April 30, 2012.

• With sufficient registration our goal is to field a Minor and a Major team.
• Practice will begin as soon as teams are established.
• Parents who are interested in coaching are encouraged to note that on their child's registration and to complete the background check available on our website, if not already on file.

Fall Softball

Come out and extend your playing in our developmental and competitive program. Softballl age is based on participant’s age on January 1, 2012.

• With sufficient registrations our goal is to field a U12 Minor team, U12 Major team and a Juniors team.
• Games will be played on Amherst Middle School fields or on the fields of surrounding towns with whom we compete in the Souhegan Valley Softball League.
• Registered 9-12 year olds will be placed on a Minor or Major team, players ages 13-16 will be placed on the Juniors team.
