Sign Your Kids Up For Spring Sports In Amherst!

Get ready for another season of baseball, softball and volleyball.

Spring Baseball: Registration deadline is Feb. 28 to AVOID a $25 late registration fee. Last day to register is Friday, March 8. Check the website for registration details. We have added new information regarding playing up in a higher age league and scheduled screening date of Sunday, March 10, 3-5pm at Souhegan High School.

The New Hampshire Babe Ruth league consists of 8 to 9 teams from Merrimack, Milford, Hollis/Brookline and Amherst.  This is a Middle School friendly league! The league recognizes that Middle School practices and games are the priority.  The New Hampshire Babe Ruth practices will be held after Middle School practice times.  Babe Ruth games will generally be played on Wednesdays and Saturdays to not conflict with Middle School games  normally played on Tuesdays and Thursdays.    If there is ever a conflict in schedule, the Middle School will take priority.

The Amherst Recreation Department encourages all players trying out for the Middle School team to also sign up for Babe Ruth before the March 10 cutoff.   If the player makes the Middle School team, no conflict and more games to play. If the player does not make the team, then there is still a team to play on.   Players that want to pitch will get the opportunity with Babe Ruth. The schedule extends beyond the Middle School schedule with playoffs and a great weekend tournament in Merrimack.

Spring Softball: To avoid a late registration fee of $25 register on or before March 8. Screening is Saturday, March 23, 9:30-11am at Amherst Middle School. Sign up for our 4 week clinic starting Monday, March 4, 6:30-8pm at Amherst Middle School.
