How Much Snow did Amherst Get?
Area police are reporting the road conditions are extremely poor.

UPDATED, Sunday, 12;01 p.m.: So how much snow did Amherst get from Saturday's snow storm?
According to WMUR, the town got about 8 inches of heavy, wet snow by the time the last flakes had fallen on Sunday morning. Town public works crews were still clearing the roads and residents were busy digging out of their driveways.

Earlier story: Snow-covered roads led to numerous accidents across southern New Hampshire on Saturday morning.
At 11:30 a.m., an accident was reported on Route 125 in Kingston. There was no word on injuries. Around that same time, a car versus pole occurred in the area of 10 Crane Crossing Road in Plaistow. Two people were reportedly injured.
Accidents were also reported on the Spaulding Turnpike in Portsmouth, on Route 121A in Sandown, on Bennett Way in Newmarket, on Route 27 in Epping, on Sandown Road in Hampstead and on Broad Street in Nashua.
Numerous area police departments sent messages out on social media warning drivers of the poor road conditions.
