Souhegan High School's varsity football team hosted its first home game of the season on Friday night, but lost a tough contest to Hanover High School.
After trailing early in the game, Souhegan pulled ahead to take a late lead of 21-19. Hanover came back however, scoring the winning touchdown with just three seconds left to go in the game. The final score was 25-21.
The Sabers play again on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Windham High School
