Souhegan To Host Annual Baseball Clinic

Souhegan High School will once again host the New Hampshire Baseball Coach's Association's Annual Baseball Clinic this year. 

The clinic will take place on Sundaym Feb. 10 at the high school for both high school and youth coaches.

8-9:00am - Registration  

9:00am - Pitching Mechanics. Greg DiCenzo - Head Coach - College of the Holy Cross 

10:00am - Team Building with Ideas and Action.Mike Tully   

11:00am - Touring the bases and how to safely teach sliding indoors and outdoors.John Bly - New England College Assistant Coach   

NOON - BanquetFood Will Be Sold in the Café, NHBCA Awards will be presented   

1:00pm - South Maine – Baltimore Orioles and Chicago Cubs Hitting drills. Ed Flaherty – University of Southern Maine 

2:00pm - Defensive aspects of baseball - drills and skill work to prepare the players for the game.Rene Chapa and John Grainger - Assistant Coaches Colby Sawyer College   

3:00pm - Preparing the catcher for his many responsibilities. Mike Stone – University of Massachusetts / Amherst
