Troopers Make 24 DWI Arrests Over Memorial Day Weekend
NH State Police made a total of 2,529 vehicle stops over the three-day weekend.

The New Hampshire State Police have announced the results of their enforcement efforts during their C.A.R.E Life Saver Weekend.
State Police Director Colonel Robert Quinn said in a press release that there were no fatal car crashes from Friday, May 24 through Monday, May, 27.
State Troopers made a total of 2,529 vehicle stops, which included 686 citations for speeding and 1161 warnings. There were also 130 citations issued for hazardous violations and 18 for Driving after Suspension.

Additionaly, 60 other criminal arrests were made during this time period, including 24 DWI arrests.
Quinn said that several erratic and impaired operators were identified and aprehended as a result of phone calls by responsible citizens reporting unsafe and erratic operation. The men and women of the State Police appreciate the public's assistance in removing impaired drivers from our roadways.
