Thunderstorms Possible Later Today
National Weather Service forecasts call for thunderstorms in New Hampshire, which could bring rain and wind but are also expected to break the heat.
The National Weather Service is warning of the potential for severe thunderstorms for much of New Hampshire today.
Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into this evening.
Storms could bring "strong to damaging winds" and "large hail along with torrential downpours," according to the National Weather Service. Southern New England is expected to see the worst of the hazardous weather.
Thunderstorms on Tuesday night caused some serious problems, with more than 20,000 customers losing power and serious damage reported in Hopkinton. No serious problems were reported in Salem, however.
