Two-Alarm Fire Tears Through Amherst Home
A Wednesday morning blaze on Amherst Street is under investigation.
A residential building in Amherst went up in flames early this morning.
Fire crews responded to the two-alarm fire at 123 Amherst Street, Amherst around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to Amherst Fire Chief Mark Boynton.
The fire was focused on the top floor of the two-story residential building, causing heavy damage. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Boynton said that his department is still on the scene this morning. Trucks from Milford, Mont Vernon, Merrimack, Bedford and Hollis also responded to the scene.
