Two Women Arrested on Theft Charges

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Monday, May 13]

At 2:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Tyler W. Dilger, 23, of 5 Hickory Drive, on the 12 hour domestic law at the request of Nashua PD. Dilger was released to the custody of Nashua PD.

At 7:25 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Rebecca Mirhashem, 17, of Mont Vernon and Samuel Ballard, 18, of Mont Vernon.

At 3:37 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 westbound on ramp to Baboosic Lake Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Alexander A. Carlson, 17, of Amherst and Cheryl Kearney, 45, of Amherst.

At 3:58 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Stephen Wowianko, 30, of Wilton and Jessica Duplessis, 28, of Milford.

At 3:58 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested James Jorritsma, 29, of 36 Page Hill Road, New Ipswich on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Jaffrey-Peterborough District Court. Jorritsma was held in lieu of $732 cash bail, with a court date set for May 14, 2013.  

At 5:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Hannah Elizabeth Griffith, 17, of 100 Francestown Tpke, Mont Vernon on a charge of theft. Griffith was released on $400 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 5:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Samantha Wenham Norton, 21, of 29 Green Road, Amherst on a charge of theft. Norton was released on $400 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 6, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
