1. He wants candy! Former teen pop idol Aaron Carter will be playing at Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry on Saturday, March. 2 at 7 p.m. The musical career of Aaron Carter actually began when he was seven, when he landed the position of lead singer in a band called Dead End. Since then, he set the world record for the most hit songs recorded by a person his age in music history! Has all the fame and fortune changed Aaron Carter? Naah. He's the same loveable kid he's always been. Asked what makes him the most happy, he responds gleefully "Making my fans and family happy, and having fun!" And he's doing a great job at all three! 

2. Soul brother! Pocket Full of Soul - The Harmonica Documentary will be playing at Cinemagic and IMAX Hooksett tonight from 7:30-10 p.m. Pocket Full of Soul: The Harmonica Documentary, narrated by Huey Lewis (of The News), provides a raw and unvarnished look at the harmonica's rich subculture, the unique relationships forged between the instrument and its players, its versatility across music genres, and its subsequent ubiquity. Get up close and personal with the players, both famous and infamous, that helped to popularize the instrument as they relate universal tales of passion, creativity, and musical celebration. Pocket Full of Soul features interviews and performances by the masters of the instrument including John Popper (of Blues Traveler), Magic Dick (of J. Geils Band), Clint Black, Lee Oskar (of WAR), James Cotton, Charlie Musselwhite, Robert Klein, Sugar Blue, “Survivorman” Les Stroud, and many more ...

3. Jazzy! Every Thursday night from 7:30 – 10, Milly’s Tavern will be the hip venue for people to gather and enjoy fantastic live music by our 21 piece professional Big Band. We will be playing sophisticated arrangements of high energy contemporary jazz, fusion and rock, along with a selection of classic big band jazz for your entertainment. There will be floor space for dancing; freestyle, swing, even ballroom, as well as plenty of seating for relaxing and enjoying the entertainment along with great food and drinks. To further feed the sophisticated and fun vibe, we will be bringing in featured soloists and performers, both locals and regional musicians of many styles, to showcase their talent. Join us each Thursday this year from 7:30-10 for Big Band Night at Millys Tavern, 500 Commercial Street, Manchester, NH.

4. No place like home! The 6th New Hampshire State Home Show is on Friday, Mar. 1 from 1-8 p.m. The New Hampshire State Home Show provides the longest running most productive show venue for home and building products in New England. For over 45 years - it has been the spring show that consumers visit to meet, learn about and interact with vendors, builders and home solutions providers. With over 350 booths and a history of selling out each year this is the place to be to see the latest in building and remodeling products and services. The show is produced by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of New Hampshire.

5. Fight! Combat Zone March Madness is hitting Rockingham Park in Salem on Friday, Mar. 1 from 8 p.m.-11:45 p.m. Don't miss the rising stars of MMA when the region's top professional and amateur fighters battle in the cage for March Madness- a thrilling night of top-notch action promoted by Combat Zone. The undefeated Cody Anderson, a talented and exciting up-and-coming young fighter representing Team Triumph in Nashua, makes his pro debut against the always tough Ryan Hodge (4-7-0) from F2 Arena in Florida in the main event at 185 pounds.
