Weekend Planner: You Will FREAK For These Antiques!

The good times never end, no matter how old they may be.

1. Old treasures! Visit the Milford Antiques Show on Sunday, Mar. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hampshire Hills. New England's Weekly Winter Antiques Shows. Open Every Sunday through March 24, 2013.  Over 80 dealers from several states present a large variety of quality antiques and collectibles at reasonable prices. Show hours are short and sweet from 8:30 am to 11 am. Admission is only $5 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and free admission from 9:30 am to 11 am. Free parking, ATM machine in lobby, cafe with brunch specials including fresh baked items and good coffee.

2. One of the greats! Experience 'A Moment in Time' A Tribute to Duke Ellington at the  Capitol Center for the Arts on Sunday, Mar. 10 at 4 p.m. From the early Cotton Club years to the 1956 Newport Jazz Festival, his sacred concerts, film scores, and symphony compositions, the legacy of Edward Kennedy “Duke” Ellington and his profound impact on American music is unequaled. For over fifty years, “Duke” personified the great American jazz art form and has been hailed as one of America’s greatest composers. The Capitol Center Jazz Orchestra along with the New York based METTA QUINTET, a highly creative unit comprised of some of today’s brightest emerging jazz artists, will pay homage to the music of Duke Ellington and his incredible legacy.

3. Get outdoors! The 41st Annual NH Camping & RV Show will take place at The New Hampshire Dome in Milford all day on Friday, Mar. 8 and into the weekend. This is "New Hampshire’s Largest Camping and RV Show" with more than 50 campgrounds represented. Find camping equipment and RV's alongside exhibits from local businesses.

4. Brewin'! Incredibrew in Nashua is kicking off their St. Patty's Day Brewfest on Friday, Mar. 8 from 6-8 p.m. IncrediBREW, Inc. will be providing two opportunities for a St. Patrick's Day Brewfest, simply choose the date that you would prefer to attend! Dates include; Thursday, March 7th at 6 PM or Friday, March 8th at 6 PM. On March 7th, the cost is only $35 per variety case with bottles included, on March 8th the price is $60 per two variety cases, bottles are not included. At this event, attendees will brew up IncrediBREW's best Irish beers: Irish Dry Stout, Double Dublin, Irish Red Ale, and more. Return in two weeks (which just happens to be right before St. Patrick's Day), for bottling. Everyone gets a variety case to take home. Fill a few pints and toast to good will and happiness. As an old Irish saying goes: "For every wound, a balm. For every sorrow, cheer. For every storm, a calm. For every thirst, a beer."

5. Puff! Listen to Peter Yarrow at the Palace Theater on Friday, Mar. 8 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The names Peter, Paul & Mary still resound with lovers of classic folk music. As one-third of that legendary group, Peter Yarrow contributed his immeasurable talents as both performer and songwriter ("Puff, the Magic Dragon"), garnering multiple Gold and Platinum Albums as well as numerous Grammys. He continues to use music to convey a message of humanity and caring.
