What is Life Like on Top of Mount Washington?
Find out what is happening at the Amherst Town Library this week.

The High Life: Get to the library this Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 7-8:30 p.m. to get an inside look of the top of the world. Life at the Top: Weather, Wonder, and High Cuisine from the Mount Washington Observatory features Eric Pinder, who lived and worked as a weather observer for seven years at the icy outpost of the Mount Washington Observatory. Having climbed Mt. Washington ('Home of the World's Worst Weather') 48 times, author and nature photographer Eric Pinder shares his experiences--weather folklore, bear stories, 100 mph wind, wandering moose, odd questions from visitors--in a program sure to delight on a January evening in New Hampshire!
Take their iPad: The library is offering their iPad for all Amherst Town Library cardholders.
