Will We Have Six More Weeks of Winter?
Punxsutawney Phil will come out of his burrow Saturday for annual Groundhog Day ceremony.

Winter is how much longer?
That's the question we'll learn the answer to on Saturday if you believe that Pennsylvania's weather-predicting, celebrity groundhog Punxsutawney Phil knows his stuff.
Phil will make a trip out of his burrow to look for his shadow at Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney, Penn., at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday morning, Feb. 2.

According to legend, if Phil sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. If not, there will be an early spring. According to the official Groundhog Day website, "Punxsutawney held its first Groundhog Day in the 1800's. The first official trek to Gobbler's Knob was made on Feb. 2, 1887.
This year's is the 127th prediction in Punxsutawney.

If this weekend's forecast of snow holds true for Punxsutawney on Saturday morning, it's unlikely Phil will see his shadow.
