Your Library Makes It Easier Than Ever To Download E-Books
A new ebook service makes getting those digital reads a breeze.

The libraries of the GMILCS, Inc. consortium are pleased to introduce an exciting new ebook service.
The 3M Cloud Library includes the latest bestsellers for kids, teens and adults, as well as a good selection of nonfiction which your librarians have chosen for you.
While the GMILCS libraries have been offering other downloadable books since 2006, the new service makes it much easier to search and check out or place a hold on a title seamlessly through the library’s online catalog. Then, when you open an app on a reader, tablet, computer or smart phone the book is available for reading.

The integration of ebooks and the library system is due to a partnership between 3M and Polaris Library Systems, the library software vendor for GMILCS. With grant support from the Samuel P. Hunt Foundation, the libraries are responding to the needs of the community by increasing access to eBooks, purchasing more titles and decreasing the waiting time for popular titles.
The GMILCS, Inc. consortium serves the libraries of Amherst, Bedford, Derry, Goffstown, Hooksett, Manchester, Merrimack, Milford, Salem, Windham, New England College and the New Hampshire Institute of Art.
