Watch: Police and fire and rescue teams were sent to rollover crashes on King Street and Lake View Drive on Saturday night.
CONCORD, NH — Police and fire and rescue teams from Boscawen and Concord had their hands full Saturday night dealing with two rollover crashes.
Around 9:15 p.m., Merrimack County dispatch reported a possible rollover crash involving a single vehicle on King Street in Boscawen, not far from Berle Drive. Dispatch said the vehicle may have also struck a utility pole. Capital Region Fire Dispatch also sent the Penacook Rescue Squad and Boscawen firefighters to the scene.
“It’s a one-car rollover,” one officer said. “Everyone is out of the vehicle.”

Dispatch re-toned the rescue squad a few minutes later and also reported the utility pole was broken. Wires did not appear to be on the ground, they said. The vehicle was on its roof, and the westbound lane was closed by police, according to scanner chatter.
Unitil was told about the incident and Concord police also sent a unit to assist.
Around 10:15 p.m., Concord police dispatch received a 911 report about a crash with injury on Lake View Drive between District 5 Road and Long Pond Road.
“Units heading to the accident,” one dispatcher said, “it sounds like there is entrapment.”
Officers and fire and rescue teams responded to the area and found an SUV rolled over onto its side off the street, just before District 5 Road. The driver, a woman, had a head injury but appeared to be OK, one officer said. The vehicle was a Toyota Sienna minivan. Traffic was diverted at Long Pond Road and District 5 Road.
One officer reported there could be a small dog loose in the area, but it was later found inside the minivan.
A woman in her late 60s was taken to the hospital by Concord EMTs.
