Boscawen Sex Offender Indicted On Burglary, Theft, Duty To Report Charges: County Court Indictment Roundup

Another felon accused of being involved in homeless camp robbery indicted; Connecticut man indicted in gold swindle case; drug indictments.

CONCORD, NH — A grand jury in Merrimack County recently indicted the people listed below.

Daniel Chambers, 47, a homeless man now located in Concord, on robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery with an actual firearm, criminal threatening, and felon in possession charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing a knife and threatening another person with it under the Water Street Bridge in Concord on June 7. Chambers also agreed with Trenton McDonald to enter a tent to rob another person with McDonald possessing a firearm and Chambers knowing he was possessing a gun, the indictment stated. Edgar W. Gordon, 59, of Tremont Street in Boscawen, on theft by deception-$1,500-plus, receiving stolen property, receiving stolen property-two prior convictions, forgery, theft by unauthorized taking-two prior convictions, duty to report with prior conviction, and two burglary charges, all felonies. He burglarized a building on Monitor Drive and retained stolen property, on June 12, according to the indictments. Gordon was also accused of burglarizing Lakes Region Tent and Events on Whitney Road in Penacook, cashing a stolen check for $2,275.50, on April 25. He was also accused of retaining construction materials owned by another person in Concord on May 9. Gordon, according to the indictment, is also a sex offender due to a sexual assault conviction in Aroostook County Superior Court in Caribou, Maine, in July 1994. He was accused of not registering with Boscawen police between April 4 and June 4 as required by law. He was also convicted of duty to report in Hillsborough County Superior Court North in May 2016, according to the indictment.

Mark A. Green, 64, of Sunrise Lane in Allenstown, on four felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges, methamphetamine and fentanyl, on Jan. 31, 2024, in Pembroke, and March 19, 2024, in Concord.

Chad Hirtle, 28, of Howard Street in Nashua, on felony possession of a narcotic drug-fentanyl and cocaine mix on Nov. 30, 2024, in Hooksett.

Michael Hoey, 28, of Drake Road in Sanbornton, on domestic violence and reckless conduct charges, both felonies. He was accused of pointing a firearm at an intimate partner’s head between June 1 and Oct. 31, 2022, in Concord. Zachary Kitchen, 22, of Clinton Street in Laconia, on stalking and tampering with witnesses and informants charges, both felonies. He was accused of sending a message to a protected party, a woman, asking if they could come to an agreement on dropping charges or words to that effect, between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30, 2024, in Pittsfield.

Wendy Leedberg-Snow, 59, of Richmond Street in Nashua, on a felony tampering with witnesses and informants charge. She was accused of attempting to get a man to testify or falsely inform about the certification of a marriage license on Oct. 14, 2024, in Concord.

Ji Li, 41, of Main Street in Winstead, Connecticut, on attempted theft by deception and conspiracy to commit theft by deception. He worked with others, unidentified, to convince a man he was the victim of a crime and to convert his savings into gold, safely store it for the thieves, and then meet with Li to deliver the gold to him between Feb. 1 and May 12 in Concord, according to the indictments.
