Concord Bank Robbery: Woman Charged
Concord police said Sarah Hodge robbed Citizens Bank downtown.

CONCORD, NH -- A Concord woman was robbed the downtown Citizens Bank, police announced Thursday. Sarah Hodge (pictured), 57, robbed the bank Wednesday at about 9 a.m., police said. She was arrested Thursday after police said they tracked her down based on witness interviews and tips.
"(Hodge) entered the bank wearing a winter hat, a jacket, and scarf," Concord Police Lieutenant Sean Ford said in a statement. "The suspect showed ... a bank teller ... a note demanding a large sum of money. The suspect gestured in a manner leading the victim to believe that the suspect may be armed."
Hodge fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Ford. Officers executed a search warrant related to the case Wednesday night and said they recovered evidence related to the crime. Officers apprehended Hodge later Thursday. She was charged with felony robbery and held without bail pending an arraignment in Merrimack County Superior Court.
