Manchester Woman Faces Stalking And Breach Of Bail Charges After Incident At Concord Concert
Gloria Muniz was accused of violating a domestic protection order at Tandy's in Eagle Square in Downtown Concord earlier this month.

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Manchester was arrested earlier this month on stalking and breach of bail charges after an incident at a Downtown Concord restaurant.
Around 9 p.m. on Aug. 9, police were sent to Tandy’s in Eagle Square for a report of a protection order violation. A woman in her early 20s was attending a concert and the defendant in the protection order was also there and was not leaving, an affidavit stated. The suspect was identified as Gloria Muniz, 21, of Manchester Street in Manchester.
Dispatch confirmed there was a protective order against Muniz by the complainant, and they had a copy of the order.

An officer interviewed the woman near the clock tower on North Main Street and was briefed on the case. She said they parted ways after about four years due to a domestic violence incident in January 2024. Muniz was charged with domestic violence-simple assault, two counts of criminal mischief, and three counts of simple assault. Muniz, according to court paperwork, was out on personal recognizance by a bail commissioner out of Manchester District Court.
The victim said she was at Tandy’s for a concert and while there, saw Muniz, who was already present. She stated she had spoken about the concert to mutual friends and posted about it, but was unsure if anyone told Muniz directly. The women made eye contact and Muniz “looked taken aback and surprised” but did not leave after they made eye contact, the report stated.

The complainant took a video and a photo of Muniz inside Tandy’s and showed it to the officer, saying she was “confident” it was Muniz, despite being in “heavy goth makeup” with “white paint covering her face,” the report said.
Officers went to speak with Muniz, noting there were only a few dozen people in the club, describing the event as “extremely spread out and well lit.” She was walked out of Tandy’s and interviewed, the officer wrote. Muniz, according to the affidavit, confirmed the protection order but denied knowing the victim was there. Later, she said, “she believed that if she was in a spot first, she was allowed to stay, even if the protected party showed up,” an officer wrote. The officer countered her comment was an incorrect interpretation of the protective order, which required her to leave regardless of who was there first, the report stated. Muniz also denied making eye contact and said she was not wearing her glasses, according to the affidavit.
After discussing her vision with police, Muniz was arrested.
The officer noted while being arrested, Muniz requested officers notify her friends, who were about 25 to 30 feet away, of what was going on, the report said. The officer added, “It should be noted that the outdoor area where we were standing was dimly lit and Gloria was able to point (her friends) out without issue at a distance of 25 to 30 feet.”
Muniz was arrested and held without bail. She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Aug. 11 in Concord District Court. She is due back in Concord District Court on Nov. 6 for trial, according to court documents.
Appealing A Conviction
After being arrested in January 2024, Muniz was scheduled to go to trial in August 2024, as well as in February and March.
On March 6, she pleaded not guilty to all the charges but was found guilty of criminal mischief. Muniz received a suspended fine of $620 and was required to have no contact with or to be within 300 feet of the victim, along with two years of good behavior.
Muniz filed an appeal with the Hillsborough County Superior Court North on the conviction.
On June 6, a prosecutor with the county attorney’s office requested a sound recording of the trial, according to court records. After motions to continue, a pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 5, with jury selection to begin on Nov. 17.
