New Hampshire Felon, With ‘Violent Tendencies,’ Wanted By Department Of Corrections Investigators
Steven Potter is wanted on a probation violation after assault by a prisoner, first- and second-degree convictions. Have you seen him?

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help finding a felon with “violent tendencies” who is wanted for absconding from probation supervision after being convicted of assault by a prisoner.
Steven Burton Potter is 35, white, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. He has green eyes and black hair. Investigators said he has the names “Caiden” tattooed to his left neck, “Mia” on his forearm, and “Jette” on a forearm. Sometimes, according to an alert, he uses the alias “Stephen Potter.”
The Coos County Superior Court issued a warrant for his arrest after he was accused of failing to report to probation in June. The assault by a prisoner charges were first- and second-degree assault against another inmate — punching the man in the face, causing multiple facial fractures, while he was at the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility.
